Dwyer Manufacturing Ltd., Dublin Ontario N0K 1E0
At Dwyer Manufacturing, we’ve spent the past 25 years assisting in making famers’ lives a little easier, with our line of agricultural equipment. We want your help.
We’re looking for a service and installation technician to make sure our equipment is competently installed and is maintained in great working order.
Your goal in this position is to work independently and in a team to install and service our full line of agricultural equipment, including automated feeding equipment, weighing equipment, ventilation, penning, and flooring. Along the way, you’ll build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through your solid competence and credibility.
You’re always seeking to improve your skills, learn new products, and aim to make excellent knowledge-driven recommendations or decisions.
You’ll succeed in this role if you are:
o Technically and mechanically gifted – maybe you grew up working on farm equipment, or you’ve worked as a millwright/mechanical technician. Either way you have great diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills, can think independently, and love problem-solving.
o Electrical knowledge – you have a strong electrical background, from a trouble-shooting and installation perspective. Whether you’ve wired up exhaust fans, traced and repaired short-circuits, or wired your house, you have excellent skills and confidence.
o Flexible and positive – this is a small company, so you have no problem taking on any task that needs to be done. You enjoy diversity in your job, and come to work engaged and look forward to each days challenges.
