The Night Shift Setup Mechanic is responsible for assisting with teardown and setting up production equipment and ensuring that it is running properly by a set time daily.

General Responsibilities:

i)           Teardown and setup production equipment.

ii)          Complete associated documentation as established by Erie Meat Products for inventory tracking, HACCP plan compliance or other purposes.

iii)         Able to troubleshoot and solve various mechanical issues as they arise.

iv)        Perform regular nightly routines without direct supervision.  Advise Production or Maintenance Manager of any issues that could delay start-up.

v)         Act as an advisor to Machine Operators if non-mechanical issues occurs.

vi)        Complete Preventative, predictive maintenance tasks as per the company’s extensive PM Programme.

Education, Training or Work Experience: Some experience operating machinery in food processing or other manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $17.00 Hourly

Hours: 9:00 pm – 7:30 am, Monday-Friday
