Summit College is an Ontario Private Career College that has been helping adults move forward on new and rewarding career paths for over a decade. Summit also empowers youth by helping students’ catch-up, keep-up and get ahead in school through the means of tutoring services. Summit was founded in 2001 by an Ontario Certified Teacher with a background in psychology, 12 years training and leadership with the Department of National Defence, and a variety of labour industry experiences. This broad foundation informed and shaped the summit model and its teaching systems.
· Facilitate and teach 1-to-1 Microsoft Office programs – mostly Word and Excel
· Facilitate and teach 1-to-1 academic upgrading: English, Math, GED
· Facilitate and teach 1-to-1 diploma programs such as Customer Service, Office Administration, etc.
· Complete progress and assessment reports in a timely manner
· Develop rapport with the community and third-party funding agents
Commitment to continuous learning
Ability to relate well to different groups of students of different ages and ability levels
Strong organization, communication, and client relationship-building skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work a flexible schedule (on-call/supply)
