Industrial Mechanics install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and components for multiple production lines used in meat processing.
General Responsibilities: i) Setup, teardown, maintain and repair production equipment includes completing changeover of line or components as needed.
ii) Troubleshoot and solve various mechanical issues as they arise.
iii) Assist with new installations.
iv) Work independently, consistently monitor production lines for issues and advise Production or Maintenance Lead Hands of any production impacts.
v) Complete associated documentation as established by Erie Meat Products Ltd. for inventory tracking, HACCP plan compliance or any other purposes.
vi) Provide support to other maintenance staff including Electricians and Powerhouse.
vii) Act as an advisor to Machine Operators if non-mechanical issues occurs.
viii) Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks as per our extensive PM Programme.
Education, Training or Work Experience:
i) Industrial Mechanic Millwright Ticket (Red Seal)
ii) Experience in a food manufacturing or meat processing plant

Pay Rate: Dependent on knowledge, education and skill level
Hours: TBD, Monday – Friday (every other Saturday)
