Facility Operator B

Reporting to the Pyramid Recreation Centre Operations Supervisor, the Facility Operator B is part of a team that ensures the health, safety and enjoyment of all facility users.   

Positions Available: 1                                         Closing: July 22, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.

Status: Full-time, Permanent                              Work Location: Pyramid Recreation Centre

Days of Work: Sunday-Saturday                        Hours of Work: Variable, Days/Afternoons

Pay Range: $21.40 – $23.45/hr                      


Demonstrate a customer focused, commitment to service excellence when interacting with all internal and external partners
Proactively communicate to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Maintain ice surfaces and pool chemistry
Coordinate and assist with set-up and tear-down for facility users
Perform day-to day maintenance duties to demonstrate a sense of pride in the facility
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners
Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) Certificate and/or Certified Ice Technician Designation (CIT)
1 to 3 years’ experience working in an arena with ice pads and pools
Strong knowledge of the Technical Standards and Safety Act
Valid Class G Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
