Status: Full Time                                                    Pay Range: $23.82 - $26.11

Days of Work:  Sunday - Saturday                        Work Week: 40 hrs. /weeks, various shifts

Work Location: Pyramid Recreation Centre

Respond to questions and comments raised by users and demonstrate a customer focused, commitment to service excellence when interacting with all internal and external partners
Consistently maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Pyramid Recreation Centre
Perform custodial and general maintenance duties for all areas of the facility (e.g. sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, clean dressing rooms, empty garbages, clean stands, prepare and paint surfaces etc.)
Coordinate and assist with set ups/tear downs for facility users
Monitor inventory levels (i.e. janitorial supplies, pool chemicals and alcohol for bars)
Monitor Refrigeration Plant/system, keep accurate records and perform general plant maintenance
Maintain ice surfaces as prescribed by department policies and legislation
Monitor and maintain pool water chemistry in accordance with applicable legislations
Act as a first responder for emergencies
Refrigeration Operator Class "B" Certification
Pool Operator Certificate
Certified Ice Technician Designation
Strong knowledge of the Technical Standards and Safety Act
Ability  to perform occasional lifting/snow shovelling
1-3 years experience working in an arena with ice pads and pools
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners
