Electrician – Apprentice
The Electrician Apprentice is responsible for the completion of tasks and assignments within the trade under the direction of a Journeyman or independently to maintain equipment and plant building.
i) Complete theoretical training as per the government regulations and pass all required exams.
ii) Perform reasonable duties as assigned.
iii) Support production processes as needed.
iv) Responsible for supporting the maintenance team.
Education, Training or Work Experience:
i) Must have at least three years Canadian experience in the trade.
ii) Experience in the manufacturing environment (food, packaging) would be an asset.
-Proven mechanical aptitude
-Able to work independently
-Good organizational skills
-Lift approximately 30 kg repeatedly
-Must have reliable transportation
-Ability to read electrical drawings
-Able to work in a team environment
-Excellent communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Provide own tools
Pay Rate: TBD – Experience based
Hours: 2:00pm-12:00am, Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
